UAE Conference
The UAE Conference is the second tier of rugby for adult men's rugby in the UAE. The league consists of teams based in the UAE, with some clubs fielding their First XV and the UAE Premiership clubs fielding their 2nd XV.
Over the past few seasons the standard of play has increased greatly and the matches played are very competitive. This is a good entry level of competition for new and developing teams, for players with a more social outlook or for more experienced players looking to extend their playing careers.
The 2008-09 season saw the Dubai Dragons 2nd XV clinch the title once more, but not without a late challenge from Al Ain Amblers, in fact it was Al Ain's poor early season form that cost them the title, but it was the consistency of the Dragons that was the key to their success.
